The Power of Multivariate Analysis in Spectroscopy

 27 January 2022 to 27 January 2022
 Online
United States

Spectroscopic data is particularly well-suited for multivariate analysis, and this webinar will cover the basics of using this approach. After introducing the fundamentals of chemometrics and its application, case studies will be presented to show the advantages, and challenges, of using multivariate data analysis to solve chemical monitoring challenges.

The speaker is Michael Roberto of Sartorius Stedim Biotech

Bio: Michael Roberto is a spectroscopist and chemometrician who received his doctorate in analytical chemistry from the University of Washington. His background is in the application of multivariate data analytics to spectroscopy and process data in the petrochemical, specialty chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. He is currently a data scientist at Sartorius Stedim, working with customers on consulting projects, training courses and proof of concept deployments. He currently lives in Seattle, and in his spare time he enjoys family camping trips and hiking on the coast.
